Navan Educate Together

Our History

A recent 6th Class going back to visit our humble beginnings

Navan Educate Together National School opened its doors in 2002 in the Order Of Malta hall on Academy Street. The school had two classes and 30 pupils separated by a curtain. Classrooms had to be set up and taken down every day for the year that we were there were there.

The school then moved to Rock Lodge, a private house on Flower Hill. We stayed there for two years.

In 2005 we moved again. This time to the former SIPTU office on Dan Shaw Road, Navan. The school continued to go from strength to strength. We quickly filled the building and later the additional four prefabs. During the years on Dan Shaw Road the school added Childcare Services ; a busy preschool, day care as well as a breakfast and after school club. We became one of the few Educate Together schools in the country to offer these valuable services

In 2013 we got the exciting news that we would be moving yet again, but this time the move would be our last!

In April 2015 we moved into our new purpose built school.  This will enable us to continue to grow and continue to go from strength to strength!
