Introducing the NET Parent Teacher Association
You, me and every parent at our school is part of the Parent Teacher Association. A smaller number of us are in the committee — and we are here to represent you, and to listen! We are always looking for new members and volunteers.
Being a member of the Parent Teacher Association in our school enables you to gain an insight into your child’s school life and their learning. If you’d like to help out, let us know — you can do as little or as much as you like. Even if you can only take part in a minor way, your contribution is welcome!

How do I get involved?
The PTA is as much about building a community of parents as it is about organising events and fundraising. We have regular monthly meetings in the school. It’s great fun, so come along and join us! Can’t make it to the meetings? No problem! Be proactive and get involved in the PTA via the following options:
Submit a comment to our suggestion box below and we’ll get back to you.
The PTA and our school
Fundraising is a big part of what the PTA does — amongst other things we have had social events, mad hair day, bag packs, raffles, school photographs, pedal cinema, table quizzes and a monthly tuck shop. Down through the years, funds raised have been used to purchase classroom/gym equipment, and most recently, to help building and planting a proper school garden on the new grounds of the school on Commons Road. For more information on fundraising activities and PTA events, check out the school weekly newsletter (Click here to go to the newsletter page). However, the PTA is not just about fundraising — we are here to think about ways we can nurture our children, and how we can continue to help to improve their learning environment. Building out our lovely school garden and raise more money to create sports grounds and a playground for our special needs children are currently our biggest focus areas. We also organise social events activities for parents and children to build a strong community within the school.
