This week we were reading ‘The Tiny Seed’ by Eric Carle. A sunflower features near the end of the story so all the children created their own sunflowers using paper plates and paint . We also learned about the parts of a plant ( stem, roots, leaves, seeds)

We have been having a wonderful time in 4th Class composing our very own song with Alun from Music Generation. The children have written the lyrics and composed the music themselves and have been spending the last few weeks turning the classroom into a recording studio. We can’t wait for you to hear ‘Tropical Trees’!
