Show Racism The Red Card Competition

Congratulations and a big well done we are the 2017 overall winners of the Show Racism The Red Card, Anti- Racism Creative Competition. A delegation from the school travelled to Tallaght in May to the awards ceremony to receive the trophy presented by the Minister for Integration, Equality and Immigration, Mr David Stanton.  Comments passed by the Judging panel were very complementary.

One of the remarks was as follows:

“Amazing video! Great school community involvement including children, staff and parents resulting in a very professional looking video. Catchy lyrics and great young performers. The diversity of the pupils is very well captured and the video sends a truly positive, yet simple message against racism and for diversity. It has a viral potential in my opinion it is really cute and very uplifting”.

Many thanks to all of the staff, children and parents who participated in the production of the song and video.
