Seachtain na Gaeilge 2018

We had a very busy Seachtain na Gaeilge.  The children thoroughly enjoyed all of the activities organised for Seachtain na Gaeilge.  Monday was Lá Glas – the children wore green to school and we started the day with a parade in the yard to mark Seachtain na Gaeilge.  On Tuesday the children played games and sports as Gaeilge – Bhí craic mór againn.  Wednesday was Lá na Rince.  The day started with a lively version of the dreoilín.  Thursday was Lá Ceol.  The children took part in a concert and we held “The X-Factor”  as Gaeilge.  On Friday we had scéalta (stories) and artwork. The children wrote and listened to great tales as Gaeilge.
