Pumpkin Soup

We read the story Pumpkin Soup and then we made our own.  We examined all of our ingredients and the seeds from inside of the pumpkin.  We used potatoes, onions, garlic and a pumpkin to make our soup.  We even gave our pumpkin a name!  We talked about lots of words like chop, cut, mix and stir that we needed to do to make our soup.  Everyone helped to stir our soup.  We will plant the pumpkin seeds later in the year and hope we can grow our very own pumpkin patch too!
