YARD PAINTING & BUDDY BENCHES

Our wonderful PTA have been busy getting new Buddy Benches for the children and brightening up our yard area with fresh new paint and blackboards!  The staff even received a picnic bench to enjoy lunch breaks outside in the sun!

WINTER WOOLIES 2019

The Student Council ran another very successful Winter Jumper Day this year.  The members of the Student Council decided that all donations from this initiative would go to the Peter McVerry Trust to help the homeless.  Well done all!

THE PLANT OFF

The Student Council celebrated World Soil Day by holding a ‘Plant Off’.  The children planted bulbs and flowers which were kindly donated by our Parent Teacher Association.

CHILDREN’S RIGHTS BINGO

The Student Council brought ‘Children’s Rights’ bingo to the classes as a way to celebrate International Children’s Day and also mark the 30th anniversary of the UN Convention of Children’s Rights.  The winners got to do one less thing for homework.

DRESS UP DAY 2019

The children, staff and some parents took part in our Annual Dress Up Day on Friday 25th October 2019.  The staff dressed up as scrabble letters and the children tried to make words.  There were some fantastic costumes from the children on display.  Another creative dress up day at NETNS!

The P.T.A held a sponsorship fundraiser in which parents and teachers participated in the Muck of Kells.  This is a great example of how the parents and teachers work together for the benefit of the school.  All had a fantastical muddy day and they raised an amazing amount of money for the school.  Well done ...

JULY PROVISION 2019

The children from our Rainbow Rooms had a fantastic time during the July Provision Programme.  They enjoyed a wide variety of activities at school and went on numerous fun filled excursions.  They took part in outdoor water play and went to play centres, and a farm.  They also gave horse riding a go!
