In September 2016 we started working on our 4^th green flag for Travel. A new Green School Committee was set up with children from 3^rd to 6^th class sitting on the committee.

The committee members were assigned their roles and set to work on helping to make our school a greener place! Have a peek at some picture’s from our meetings!

Caroline (Green Schools Travel Officer) began working with our school in September 2016 and will continue to assist us as we work through the steps involved in the Travel flag.  With Caroline’s help we carried out a survey of the different ways the children travelled to school in October 2016. A follow on survey was carried out in June 2017. We were delighted to see an increase in the amount of children walking/ scooting/ cycling or car-pooling. See comparisons below. We hope to see a further increase in the next school year.
